TikTalk uses essential cookies and browser storage only. There is no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking.
Because TikTalk currently uses strictly necessary storage only, no cookie consent banner is required under UK PECR rules. Last updated: August 2026.
1. What we actually use
- Sign-in session — your login session token is kept in your browser so you stay signed in between visits. Removing it signs you out.
- Small display preferences — for example which forum groups you have expanded, and which discussions you have already counted as viewed, so view counts are not inflated by refreshing.
- Payment checkout — when you buy the £2 TikTalk+ unlock, Stripe sets its own cookies inside its checkout to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
2. What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no analytics or measurement tools, no social-media tracking pixels, no cross-site or cross-device tracking, and no profiling for marketing.
3. Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them signs you out of TikTalk and resets display preferences; your account and posts are not affected.
4. If this changes
If advertising, analytics or any other non-essential technology is introduced in future, we will update this page and add a proper cookie consent mechanism allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set.
